GAC AION LX Plus official launched on January 6, 2022 .
In terms of battery technology, AION LX Plus is equipped with exclusive self-developed sponge silicon negative electrode sheet battery technology, and boasts a combined CLTC range of 1008km. It is reported that GAC has overcome the application problems of silicon negative electrode materials in large power batteries, and formed the self-developed “sponge silicon negative electrode sheet battery technology”. Through the R&D and innovation of nearly 50 patents, GAC AION has improved the energy density of the battery system to 205Wh/kg, and the battery energy has reached 144.4kWh. After the range test conducted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in accordance with the national standard CLTC, the AION LX Plus equipped with this technology can realize a range of 1008km.
In terms of intelligence, AION LX Plus is the world’s first mass-production vehicle equipped with three second-generation intelligent zoomable LIDARs, which carries the industry’s largest number of 35 top-level intelligent driving hardware, including three second-generation intelligent zoomable LIDARs, six millimeter-wave radars, twelve ultrasonic radars, eight self-driving high-definition cameras, four surround-view cameras, and two independent high-precision localization modules; together with the 200TOPS high-computing power intelligent driving computing platform, to bring users the class-exclusive city NDA pilot assisted driving experience.
Compared with the first-generation mechanical LIDAR, the second-generation intelligent zoomable LIDAR has a maximum detection distance of 250m, and the environmental awareness refresh rate can be dynamically adjusted from 10 to 30Hz, with millisecond detection frequency; the resolution can be intelligently adjusted from 0.2 to 0.05°, accurately capturing long-distance conical buckets, bumpy road surfaces, etc., so as to anticipate risks from an ultra-long distance, and to decelerate and change lanes in advance.
AION LX Plus is also equipped with the world’s first high-performance two-gear, two-motor “four-in-one” integrated electric drive technology, which can achieve the ultimate acceleration of 100 kilometers in 2.9s, taking the lead in the 2-second acceleration era.
In terms of technological configuration, AION LX Plus is equipped with 7nm 8-core Qualcomm 8155 cabin chip and the latest ADiGO 4.0 intelligent IOT system, plus 15.6-inch high-definition center control screen, 10-speaker Alpine Master Audio, Nappa leather seats, second-row seats with leg rests, hidden electronic air vents and other comfort and luxury configurations, to create a concierge-grade luxury technological cabin, further enhancing the value of business attributes. The value of business attributes is further enhanced. The upgraded IBCM sensorless start, the new AR real-view navigation, DMS + OMS cabin monitoring.
